My totally funky EarlyBird Clock!!!

I am in love with my clock!!! I have had this Kaiser Craft "Time Flies" clock sitting in my project box to do for ages, then I got it out on the weekend as I am sick of never knowing what the time is when I am in the office. I was waiting for inspiration to strike when I happened to be visiting Viv's blog (Dogonecrazy on my side bar) and she had made a really great card with earlybird papers which is my favourite paper line of all time, then I thought that's it!!! MY CLOCK! so it is now all prettied up with earlybird papers and pics of my beautiful children. See told you I am in love.

DT call for Paper Romance

Amy from Paper Romance is having a DT call... These are the three cards I have used for my submission.
you can go and check it out using this link.
Good Luck!!!!!!

Angus - 24/7

I love this pic of Angus taken at the Hatuma Company Christmas Party, I wasn't there but Andrew's boss took this fantastic photo. On getting the pics back everyone was surprised that the picture was so nice as Angus didn't stop running around all afternoon. Obviously he knows how to pose for a good picture (probably because his mother is forever taking photos).

The base/star is Fancy Pants; the stars are all SU, a mix of stickers, rubons and punched; the letter stickers are American Crafts "thickers" and the journalling sticker is SU. I have used a few stickers from the Hoppy Memories Simply Scrappin' kit for this layout.

A Sassy Cheryl for Get Sketchy

I have made this card for the "GET SKETCHY" challenge this week using a SASSY CHERYL image. My friend Trace is on the DT for this company and the images are really cool. The image I have used is called "Little Bell Ringer" and I thought she would be perfect for my SIL's birthday card.
I have used Core-Dinations Cardstock, Copics to colour image, Prima flowers, lace, gems and leaves, crystal effects and Basic Grey "Lemonade" patterned papers. The sentiment was printed on my printer and the font is Rockwell.

All Loved Up....

I really enjoyed colouring this cute Pink Cat lily and Billy image, it seems like forever since I got to colour with my copics. Probably more likely to have only been a week. I have made this for 2 challenges, firstly Papertake Weekly challenge 'Love Actually" and secondly Spoonfull of Sugar's sketch challenge. I have used MM "Noteworthy" papers which are quite an old collection and have been sitting in my stash for quite some time. The hearts were cut using my cricut and "George" and "All Mixed Up" cartridges. The sentiment is "Hero Arts" and the flowers are Prima.
I have started to tidy and reorganize my craft area this morning while Jodie is sleep and Connor is at Kindy, Angus is 'helping' (using the term INCREDIBLY loosely) me, I got all inspired after seeing pics of my friend Gale's area on her BLOG, that and my friend Trace's husband commented that he was pleased to see "Trace's craft area wasn't the only untidy one", so hmmmm time to tidy maybe, especially as my craft space is in the spare room and my stuff is taking over. So off I go to get busy again, wish me luck.

I just really wanted to share this layout of Connor with you all, I love the pic as he looks so innocent (hmmmm, his dad and I know better) and really showcases his totally gorgeous expressive eyes. All Loved - Girly Layout

So cool to be able t make a girly scrapbook page. As you can see I have used loads of fun embellishments on this page like the lace and gorgeous Prima flower that I haven't been able to use before when scrapping for my boys. The paper is a "prima paintable" and I coloured the pattern using Twinkling H2os which was lots of fun to do, the middle is sprayed with some glimmerists in different colours and the alphas are AC Thickers.

This is a close up of the gorgeous flower which as I mentioned earlier is prima and came in a mixed blossoms bag. I have stapled the flower to the page on the lower petals so that the upper petals still have lots of "lift" and add dimension to the page.

The journalling tag was stamped with "Message Blocks" by Hero Arts and glimmermisted to within an inch of it's life, the little flowers on here are also from the Blossom bag and the middles are Hero Arts Pearls.
I really wanted to scrap this phote of Jodie because I Love the little dress she has on (I put it on her quite a bit) and it will be grown out of all to soon.... thank goodness I still have my "Becky" doll from when I was little (that is just what I called her) she is one of those bald ones that you used to see on baby shops and department stores dressed in the lastest baby clothes, I think they are called cellulose or celoid or something, mine is quite large and wears a size 1 so on second thoughts this dress will probably never fit Becky and I may have to buy Jodie a doll of her own to dress up in her baby clothes.

AFA Challenge - Hearts

This card is for this weeks "Anyone for Anya" and "Sketch Saturday" challenges... the image is from "The Greeting Farm" and is coloured with Copics, everything else on the card is Stampin'Up. The papers is "Bella Rose", the sentiment is "Oval All" and punched with SU punches, the card stock is "Ridinghood Red".

And I hope everyone (Viv, Trace and Karen, not to mention any names) has noticed that this card is RED not pink! lol.

Spoilt or What????

Check out the spoilt girls!!!! The gorgeous dress and shoes came all the way from Japan from my friend Siobhan.... what a SWEETIE!!! I have asked if those darling shoes come in my size, but apparently not, sigh. So that gift is for Jodie but see the sweet little Bella stamp? That is ALL mine!
And the flowers, well on Friday I looked out the window to see our Rural Delivery driver coming up our drive in his truck, "Oh man" I thought to myself "What huge piece of farm machinery has Andrew ordered now?" But no out got Adam and pulled out the biggest box of flowers I have ever seen, gorgeous lillies, roses, peonies and loads more. Andrew's work had ordered them when I was hospital with Jodie but the florist had been on holiday so they were a couple of weeks late... what a divine surprise.

Circle Circus Acetate Take Out Box, and do you like candy???

This is a little something I whipped up while I was watch "American Idol" last night.... I have to be honest and say I actually only watch AI until the auditions are over and then I find it pretty boring, anyway this is a little takeout box made with Pink Pirouette card stock and acetate. The template came from Papertrey Ink and is a "My Timeless Template" by Lauren Meader, I know I am going to get in the crap with someone from Stampin'Up for putting that on my blog but seriously they have to understand that sometimes if you use a product and put it on the WWW you actually have to credit the designer and where you got it from, god knows SU like people to do it with their stuff. So onwards now I have got that off my chest and given the credit I HAD to by signing the digital PTI agreement regarding downloads.... the stamp set is "Circle Circus" which I immediately fell in love with in the 09/10 catalogue and "HAD TO HAVE IT!!!" and have never inked it up. Shameful I know but I bet loads of us have sets like that, in fact if you do, leave me a comment and let me know what it is, I would love to know your "must have but hardly used" set or stamp. If you do leave me a comment with that info I will put you in the draw for blog candy which will be an SU set, some ribbon and few other bits and pieces.

Totally cute with Cheep Talk

Isn't this just the cutest!!! I love the coluors in this DP and I have to admit I was having a play when I used these "Cheep Talk" images in the colours I have stamped them with as I never imagined using this set with this dp... but what do you know, it works, and really well. I have also used Button Bouquet, Pink Pirrouette ribbon, triple heart punch and "Thank You Kindly".
I don't usually make large format cards when using Stampin'Up products for some reason, but since this one turned out so well I might have to start.
