A Cupecakey Swap Card

This sweet little card is for the CT swap as well. I used SU "Crazy for Cupcakes" and Hero Arts "Cupcakes". I also used this super lush KI Memories Lace paper which has a bit of a shimmer to it, GORGEOUS! I blinged it up a bit more with some dazzling diamonds glitter, because you can never have too much bling right?!

Another Card Swap

I got some stamps and papers from the spring mini (I know I am supposed to be dropping SU and I am, I just had already reached my quarter limit anyway) and I also ordered these designer prints papers in Ridinghood Red, so cute! The image is an Anya from the greeting farm of course and the sentiment is one from the new "Oval All" set in the Spring Mini. I have used loads of KaiserCraft pearls on this card and of course my beloved Copics.

Anya - Colour Throwdown

This weeks colours over at Color Throwdown are Pink Pirouette, Baha Breeze and Kraft. I have used and Anya image from the Greeting Farm coloured with copics which I tried to match as close as I could to this weeks colours. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the flowers are Making Memories with an SU filigree flower in the middle.

Just because I wanted too

I made this card this week, and I say week because that is how long it took me to finish. I have been so busy with house stuff and workmen and sick kids (yes again) I have hardly had a moment to myself. So I made this over the week, doing a bit here and there. My next mission is to see if I can get the current color throwdown done.

A Bella Snow Swirled Christmas Card

I haven't got any of this years Christmas DP from SU so for this card I used Bella Rose DP as I really wanted to use Riding Hood red. I have created another card similar to this one for "Our Stampspiration" Blog which belongs to Viv & Denise who have kindly asked me to be a guest designer for their blog. I recommend you go and check out these two talented ladies. All supplies on this card are SU.

I was doing so well posting every day and then for the lst couple of days I have been at Mum & Dad's with the boys as we had no roof.... I am pleased to say now though it is back on and our extension is looking decididly like part of the house. Connor is really excited as he can now see his new room taking shape. I am a little distressed though as our HUGE bedroom has shrunk!!! Our builder thought it would be a good idea to put an ensuite on our room, and it is a great idea, but my 7x7 mtr bedroom has totally shrunk!!!! Oh well on the bright side it will still be a big bedroom and I will have a shower that has an output of greater than 1ltr of water in 2 minutes.... I kid you not! I HATE OUR SHOWER! I have to go to Mum and Dad's to wash my hair!

I am feeling like such a good blogger having posted every day for the the last 4 days.... go me!

A Flower for all Seasons

I made this card today with the super cute set "A Flower For All Seasons". The little frog on this particular stamp is just adorable. I have also used my curly label punch to punch out the image and then trimmed the matting cardstock to shape. The DP is Bella Rose.
All supplies for this card are Stampin'Up.

Week 5 Crafty Tart Challenge

Haha, this is this weeks pathetic effort! We had to make handmade embellishments, I HATE the journalling tag I made, but for the challenge we HAVE to have journalling. GRRRRRR!!!!! It would be totally cool otherwise. I have used core-dinations cardstock for the tree and grass. I stamped the small apples with my Tart and Tangy set apple image and the birds are from Cheep Talk. I have used AC Thickers for the title. Oh and the leaves on the apples are my very first effort at quilling.
Anyway I have put it up a day early as I totally doubt ANYONE would be copying this! But hey we all have bad days.

So Long, Farewell.......

In continuing with my family focus, I have decided to drop being a Stampin'Up Demonstrator. I have enjoyed my time being a demo but I think am ready to take on new challenges and being an SU demo is getting in the way of some of these. I still adore the products and have really enjoyed meeting people and making loads of friends through SU. I will still be doing classes and kits but not strictly using Stampin'Up products anymore.
Thanks to all of you that have visited my blog over the last couple of years to see the cards and projects I have been making with SU and I hope you will keep coming back.

My Focus - Crafty Tart Challenge

This is my layout for last weeks challenge which was "Shapes" so you had to do a shaped layout. I am really happy with my finished result. I have altered the photo on the layout to "soft focus"
using photoshop and the papers are Jenni Bowlin I think, one of them I cut the vines out of and the other is the shaped background. It is a layout about my decision to finish work and focus on my family. I have had so much positive feedback about my decision and I am feeling great.

The Greeting Farm's cute little deer

I though I should probably update as it has been a few days and I had this image stamped and coloured and I needed to make a card with it before it got trashed by one of the boys. Isn't it a totally cute image!?!? It is from the "Forest Friends" set by The Greeting Farm.
The papers are Basic Grey "offbeat" and the image is coloured with copics. The sketch is from MOJO MONDAY

A new lease of scrapbooking life

I am so stoked.... My scrapping mojo is back! It had been missing for a couple of months until I decided to enter the Crafty Tart challenge and now I am finding inspiration all over the place.
I love this layout of Angy's latest obsession, Underpants, the photo because of how the colours have come out, reminds me of the pictures that used to be taken on polariod cameras in the 70s and early 80s. That's why I have used the circles as I think they give the layout a bit of a retro look. The papers are We R Memory Makers "Silver Lining" and I used my spellbinders to cut the journalling tag.
