An update....

I have been thinking alot about my life and my priorities.... I have decided after COPIOUS amounts of thinking about it to resign from my part time job. I have been working at RD1 since February and really enjoy it however my boys have been sick pretty much at least once a week since I started, I think it is just an age, weather and only being at daycare 6 hours a week thing, but they have to come first and I can't spend my life feeling guilty for letting my work down when my boys are the most important things in my life. When I applied for the position the plan was that my mum would look after the boys, but just after I got the job my mum got ill and still is so she is unable to look after Angus and Connor. If she was looking after my boys I would still be able to go to work when they are sick but daycare isn't like that!

I am pleased I have bitten the bullet and made my decision and I feel it is the right one as when we had children I was adamant that I was going to be a full time stay at home mum, and we are lucky enough that we are in a position for me to be able to, so I am stoked that I am getting back on track. I thought for a while that I needed to be working but I think going back to work was just what I needed to realise that I wanted to be at home with my boys and it is where I am happiest and the most needed.

Also I have been feeling totally blughhhh for the last month and a half which isn't very motivating either..... but the good news about my illness is that it is called morning sickness and (hopefully) won't last much longer!!!! So yeah a new baby on the way for us.
